The Legend Of The Two Wizards - LOTR Fan Fiction

Gandalf the grey stood in the middle of the rounded room, staff wielded in one hand and a spell ready to be fired in the other. His eyes gave a frightening stare as he said “I worn you for the last time Sarumon, do not make me do this.” Sarumon turned and faced the wizard, he too had his staff with him, but unlike Gandalf he was calm as if he knew he would come out victories.

Sarumon took a few steps forward and put his left hand on the glass ball, he gazed into it and ignored Gandalf’s warning. Sarumon said “Fine old friend, then do so.” Gandalf wasted no time and immediately aimed the awaiting spell on his new born enemy. Sarumon blocked the attack with a deep blue shield; with one word he sent a lightning bolt straight at Gandalf. The white wizard evaded the attack and was on his knees. They both stared at each other and both wanted to win the duel, but only one could emerge victorious.

Gandalf rose to his feet, head held high and his staff gripped with both hands. He whispered the words and the staff began to glow giving off an orange color. Sarumon, aware of what Gandalf is about to unleash, started making a circle shape around him with his staff. He then went into deep meditation and started talking in an unknown language.
This was the last blow they would attack with. Knowing that each of them poured all of their power into the spell; none can fail nor back down now.

Sarumon opened his eyes and they were pupil-less, glowing with a red color like fresh blood; his spell was set. Gandalf finally hit his staff on the floor and said the last word.
Both of the spells were unleashed with a power unimaginable to any human, they met half way between the two wizards and the blast was no pretty sight. The sound it gave sent all flying creatures to the sky and away. The Ent and Orcs fighting at the towers bottom all stopped and gazed to the top if the high tower.

The tower collapsed completely and nothing of any of the wizards was found. They both attacked with all their might, having neither fear nor regret of what harm may come to them. Now both are lost, they sacrificed them selves for the sake of winning the war. One of them fought for the cause of destroying the ring and for life to go on and the other fought for his own flesh. The war for the one ring will end, but the two wizard’s legend will for ever live on.
