Ayumi Hamasaki held her very first overseas concert tour 24th March 07 (yesterday) at Taipei. Tons of articles and coverage (only in Chinese however) can be found at Yahoo! Taiwan. -Ayumi will arrive Taiwan on 21st not 22nd March-
Ayumi Hamasaki will storm over Taiwan by one day earlier! It should be on the 22nd March, but Ayu decided to forward one day (21st March, Wednesday) and will be estimated to arrive at Taiwan Tao Yuan International Airport’s second terminal at 1925hrs on flight EG205. Ayu had expressed that her hopes on preparing the media conference on Thursday (22nd March), that’s why the sudden change of date.
The concert for the one of the most popular Japanese songstress has strained every single media professionals’ nerves since no one wants to miss this piece of news. And surprisingly, yesterday it was announced officially that Ayumi will come on Thursday, and today it was suddenly changed to Wednesday.

The organizer of the concert explained that Ayumi herself wanted to make this second Taiwan trip of hers to be more perfect, so besides preparing nicely for the upcoming media conference on Thursday, she also wished that she can put a proper efforts into her Friday rehearsals. That’s why the change.

The sudden change of schedule really did messed the haystacks, not only for the medias but also her fans. Since there was an online mobilization by her fans for a grand thousand-people welcoming party at the airport, it could cause fewer people be at the place right on time.

As for the media, it has shown on their entertainment news headlines Tuesday as “Ayumi will arrive on Thurday”, and tomorrow’s headline could be “Ayumi gave a surprise visit to Taiwan today!”

Whatever Ayu does really will cause everyone becoming nervous.






-Ayumi: No prawns, crabs, dairy and eggs when I'm in Taiwan!-
Not even little bugsies must be found in the suite, that's what Ayumi told her selected-hotel's management.

The Japanese female pop singer who is due to start her very first concert on Saturday (24th March) will be scheduled to arrive at Taiwan on 22nd March (Thursday) (NOTE: It has been changed to 21st March).

Apart from her massive team of 500 people combining Japanese and Taiwanese staffs, Ayumi stressed that there must be no prawn, crabs and dairy/egg products on her menu. All she wants is just curry or beef tripe rice.

On top of that she also demanded that the hotel must ensure that not one single insects must "invade" her suite, cos' she is afraid of them.

Ayumi is so ensuring her concert for success, that she had mobilized over 500 people as her staffs for the event from both countries. The organizer "Super Dome" even went as far as preparing a five-million-New Taiwan Dollar-worth van as her personal transport in Taiwan.

Besides many people and many cars, her personal luggage has around 120 suitcases at her disposal, that means three to five 3.5 tonne mini trucks to cover that much of her personal belongings.

What she wants from her hotel anyway? Oh that's simple, just no prawns, no crabs, no dairy products and no eggs on her menu to avoid any sort of freak allergies/sickness, and just curry rice and tripe rice plus red globe grapes and Taiwanese local fruits will do.

And most notably 40 humidfiers (to protect her skin and voice), and there musn't be any sort of bugs inside her suite, and the hotel was like they were preparing a war, that should be able to create a record for the strictest accomodation requirement rules ever for a foreign pop star in Taiwan.

-Ayumi Hamasaki at Taipei Night Market-
Ayumi had come to Taiwan to redeem her regrets on being unable to tour around Taiwan on her visit of the island five years ago! The songstress, who will be performing in her very first Asia Tour at Taipei Dome on this Saturday (24/3/2007), suddenly shows herself in Taipei’s famous and crowdy Shi Ling night market caused much attention and ruckus among the pedestrians. She even went to two restaurants namely the “Fan Jian” (Mortal Realm) and “Ding Shang Yu Chi” (Top Shark’s Fin) to have dinner, and returned to her hotel at around 11 p.m. thus spending her first night in Taiwan.

Ayumi, since wanted much to have more time preparing for her Taiwan Concert, suddenly changed her plan and arrived at her destination a day earlier at 21st March evening. Due to her last visit 5 years ago that let her toured nothing at all; she rushed to the said night market immediately after her touch down at the airport. Her appearance had amazed a lot of folks at the area because the ever-famous Ayumi Hamasaki just turns up right in front of them. Praises like “kirei, kawai”for her beauty follows her whenever she goes and they of course did not forget to take down her shots using their camera phones along the way to capture such a miraculous event.

Under protection of staffs and security personnel, Ayumi spent some 30 minutes window shopping at the scene. She firstly went to a blended-ice corner and took a long while before leaving with a bowl of bubble-blended-ice, after that she went inside a store that sells Japanese-goods to purchase some items, before leaving the night market contently. She heard her fans yelled, “ganbatte” at her during her tour, and she answered “Thank you” in English happily, such a friendly attitude was a big difference compared her visit five years ago, when she was criticized for being proud.

Ayumi Hamasaki will hold a press meeting conference at Jing Hua Hotel’s first floor, and rehearsal following the next day, before holding her concert at Taipei Dome on 24th March.

-Ayumi wants to sing for 7 days in Taiwan-
Japanese pop idol Ayumi Hamasaki wanted to come to Taiwan to sing for seven days!? In the press conference organized on 22nd March during her second visit, she expressed her first experience of the Shi Ling Night Market tour. She even said that it is a pity that she can only come to Taiwan for a day, and she hoping for a seven day visit next time.

In a white dress, Ayumi appeared right in front of the media punctually at 7.30 p.m. on 22nd March, and caused craze across the entire scene. Because of her immediate visit to the night market right after her arrival on 21st, the host Wang Zi Jiao asked her why would she wanted to go there. Ayumi explained that it was because of a Taiwan tour guide book that was given by a fan, and she really wanted to come to the place when she flipped to the introduction page of Shi Ling Night Market. When asked about how she feels about the place, she laughs and she can’t really see anything thanks to her encircling bodyguards. Apart from buying blended ice and accessories, she peeked among the people surrounding her and saw someone knocked an egg and pour it on an iron plate, but she doesn’t know what it is.

Having a nice evening at Shi Ling Night Market certainly gave Ayumi’s a fulfilling first day in Taiwan. The staffs bought 4 Chinese-baked pineapple tarts for her to try, each made by different manufacturers and finally she was overjoyed when she recognized the 4th one is the one that she had fell in love to during her last brief visit 5 years ago.

Having been interviewed by CNN using English, showed off her fluent English on the media conference and the host had howled for an English translator while joked that he can’t handle it anymore. When talked about the unforgettable memories during her various music video projects, Ayumi expressed her difficulties of getting use to time differentiation and environment whenever she worked abroad. But it is all worth the effort as long as her projects are perfect.

When asked about her usual habits before her stage performances, Ayumi, who will be singing on 24th March, states that she will only drink warm water in order to protect her voice, and for the sake of performance perfection she will also do voice practices. Since she is not a person that gets nervous easily, she would sometimes put some music and dance with her crew members for some relaxing.

On hearing that her concert tickets being sold out in such a short notice, Ayumi said, “I am very sorry for I being only able to come here for a day, I hope that next time I can sing for a week.” And she concluded the media conference by saying thank you in Chinese (Xie Xie), thus we can see her gratitude towards the fans of Taiwan. Ayumi shall devote her entire energy on the rehearsal on Friday, and let’s hope that there will be the most perfect performance for her first stop in her memorable Asia Tour on 24th March.





-Ayu shops till her heart's content in Taiwan-
Now obviously we know why Ayumi arrives Taiwan earlier by a day: To grab the golden opportunity to shop till her drop.

Under the intense protection of eight security guards and 30 staffs, Ayumi left her hotel at around 2 p.m. and began her shopping spree from North Zhong Shan Road's LV boutique all the way to Taipei 101 tower.

Due to her love for LV, Ayumi immediately enters the LV store beside the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel.According to the customers inside the store, Ayumi had brought a lot of people with her plus the following media and fans, caused a mini chaos at the entrance of the store. However she did request for a lock-down but instead went on shopping on her own at the 2nd floor, which is the Ladie's department. It seems that she had a few items on her mind.

Indeed, she was later seen looking carefully at a few Spring-style short coats and even asked some questions to the staffs of the department floor.Finally she purchased two short coats which is white and light blue color respectively.Both costed her 150,000 New Taiwan Dollars.

After that, the group took their transport to Taipei 101 tower and after sight-seeing around a bit at the viewing floor of the world's tallest tower, it's time for more shopping! She toured around Gucci, Miu-Miu, Escada and D&G boutiques, the petite singer's size was 34, but she bought size 40 coats at Escada, so for who is it anyway?

On seeing the Japanese idol arriving at their doorstep, the staffs of Miu Miu immediately blocked access to the following media and fans and let Ayumi stayed inside the store for half an hour. It seems that Ayumi's taste fit nicely with Miu Miu's gold and silvers for Spring/Summer season this year and thus she bagged a lot of accessories. She loves Bling Bling the most and these had became hers, as long as it's gold or silver.

The main course of Miu Miu this year was the silver handbag advertised by Lindsay Lohan which is also the main target of Ayumi Hamasaki, The all-versatile round-bottom handbag can be slinged or taken by its handles and it was nicknamed the "Chinese Tael Handbag" which priced at NTD 48000.

Besides that, Ayu also had a lot of interest at other lines of accesories by Miu Miu. For instance she swept away all available colors of leather headbands priced at NTD4000 each.Gold, silver and dual colored wide leather waist belts which cost NTD 25000 altogether, lastly the Crystal-ead lace sandals, she got three of that too and that costed her for a further NTD100,000.

But there were some people whom missed the chance of earning Ayu's money. Gucci, for instance, Taipei 101's Gucci didn't earn any sales from the Japanese Songstress because she just wanted to buy clothes instead of leather accessories even though they had prepared for her arrival. Miu Miu stole the limelight from all the designer's stores.





-Ayumi mesmerizes her crowd on her concert-
The Jpop-queen of various looks, Ayumi Hamasaki finally set her foot onto the stages of Taipei Dome on 24th March, as the first ever performances in her Asia Tour 2007. She had a total of seven costumes which some of them wild and sexy, eye-dazzling and even classical kimonos appeared throughout her performances and mesmerized 10,000 fans at the concert. The concert was a huge success despite her earlier knee-sprain during her rehearsals. She danced and sing as usual but her left thigh was bandaged during the entire show.

The breaking news about her injury had really worried some of her fans. According to sources, Ayumi sprained her left leg during rehearsal, and even had to bandage her left knee. Her Japanese staffs aked around nervously about the position of the nearest hospital. After diagnosis and treatment from her personal doctor, it seems that it is not a big deal after all.





Ayumi as if had moved her entire “Ayu Palace” to Taipei for the Taipei Concert, which was designed by her. As soon as it started, the courtesans-to-be-dancers inside the imperial-age-like European “Palace” started to move according to the beat and Ayumi descended from the skies on a swing, corsets and mini skirt, revealing the traveling J-pop queen’s perfect and sex-appealing body curves.

After that the stages transforms again into jail-like set where Ayu then lead on her BDSM queen troops to do a series of pole-dance, showing off her dancing skills, and that gave her fans a big relief, the needlessness to worry about her previous injury by looking on how she dance ferociously.

The fans all over the scene have been indulged into a total orgy of excitement and madness since the very second Ayu showed up. The heat turns up as pyrotechnics boosted the atmosphere of the concert to a near explosion and made Ayumi sweaty too. When she sang her famous “Boys & Girls”, she even turned the event into a grand carnival by shoving herself into a silver dress and can-can danced happily. The crowd joined in the singing.

During encore, Ayumi finally greeted her audiences using Chinese, English and Japanese. She smiled and confessed, “I’m really, really nervous tonight!” Her fans responded back to her professional performance by a thunderous applause, while putting up the banners, and sang “Who...” with the singer as a parting gift to their queen in their hearts.

Ayumi Hamasaki will be leaving Taiwan at 1.35 p.m.on 25th March by flight EG204.

Ayumi: Good bye Taiwan! Hello Hong Kong!-
Every party has to be ended, and it is no exceptional to Ayumi's fabulous five-day-visit to Taiwan for her first ever concert at the island state. She would leave for Japan to prepare for her next concert tour schedule. Before leaving, she still showed her friendliness and waved several times to her fans.

Unbearable to watch her leaving, fan kept on shouting her name and sent their idol all the way from the main entrance of the airport to the departure gates.

Her fanatical worshippers had been camping at the airport ever since the wee hours just for the sake of seeing her for the last time on Taiwanese soil.

Wearing her extra-large sunglasses and her light-orange dress, she made her fans losing control again when she arrived at the airport for check-in and departure.

The petite Japanese singer still kept her sweet smiles despite that she was being heavily surrounded by her bodyguards and staffs, she frequently greeted the crowd by waving her fans to them several times.

The encrazed fans finally gathered at the departure gate just have a last glimpse at their idol, who only heaven-knows when will the extremely popular J-Pop singer come back to them once more.
